Is the big day almost here? Here are some ways to help you get ready!
Start Up an Emergency Kit for the Day
This will come in handy in many ways on the day of the wedding. No one can predict what might happen and it is always a good thing to get ready with almost everything at hand so that you do not have to run around looking for them, get stressed out and waste your precious time.
Include in a small but spacious bag a bunch of safety pins, some fabric tap to fix a loosened hem of a dress, some bobby pins, nail polish remover, nail polish colours the bride and the bridesmaids use, nail file and even several packs of earrings. Include some perfumes, some glue, and double sided tape and breath mints. Also remember to add some aspirin and some antacids for emergencies.
See If the Bridal Outfit Is Completely Ready
This includes everything you will be wearing on the day of the wedding; be it the wedding gown, wedding veils, wedding accessories, shoes and any flower decorations if there are any.
While you are at it, double check the dresses of the bridesmaids, the flower girls and see if everything is right.
Do remember that there could be little hiccups and setbacks however much you ready yourself and everyone else with the process on the big day. Do not stress yourself over the little matters just get ready for the most special day of your life!
Get Everything Ready For the Dress Up
Just as it is important that you gather what you are planning to wear when you are at the altar, it is also important that you know what you should wear when you are getting dressed. If you have no wedding robes ready, you can get yourself a button down shirt. Pair the shirt with a comfortable pair of flats.
Gather the beauty tools and the makeup. If you are hiring yourself a makeup artist for the day, you can talk to them and see what additional makeup tools you need ready. Also pack a deodorant, a toothbrush and toothpaste, floss and a mouthwash. Also pack up a set of straws so that you do not have to ruin your lipstick drinking water.
If You Are Going By the Traditions
Gather something old, something new and something borrowed. You can let the maid of honour take care of these things. Do remember to have these things at least two or three months before the big day if you are planning to respect the traditions.
Take Care of the Groom’s Outfit
Set a little time to gather up the things for your man. Pack in a spacious bag, socks, a shoe polish kit, the shaving tools, products for hair styling and tools, deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste, a lint brush, perfume, aspirin, antacid and some cash for emergencies. Double check the tuxedo and the shoes with the bow ties as well.
Get Ready For the Ceremony
Take a several copies of the program and distribute it among those who are involved in the ceremony including officiate, ring bearer, maid of honour and the music band.
